Commander of Regional Police Division #6 Senior Superintendent Shivpersaud Bacchus expressed admiration for the recruits when he conducted an inspection at the Guyana Police Force Academy’s Berbice Campus yesterday.

According to a police press release, while noting their impressive turnout during the parade, Bacchus highlighted their discipline, appearance, and overall conduct, emphasizing that these qualities should be the cornerstone of a professional police force.

The inspection comprised three key phases: turnout on parade, evaluation of the building and compound, and review of records, the release said. Bacchus also commended the commandant and staff for maintaining a commendable environment at the academy, it added.

The primary goal of the inspection was to reinforce the core principles of personnel development, professionalism, and accountability among the ranks at the Berbice Campus. Commander Bacchus underscored the importance of aligning with the broader objectives of the police force to ensure a unified approach to law enforcement, the release stated.
