Pan American Hockey Challenge
Guyana maintained their unbeaten record in the Pan American Hockey Federation Challenge as they contested a scoreless affair against Paraguay yesterday at the National Sports in Bermuda.
The Guyanese, who entered the contest on the back of a historic 1-0 win against Brazil on Saturday at the same venue, was unable to penetrate the backline of the Paraguayans as both teams earned a share of the spoils.
Guyana will resume their campaign tomorrow against Bermuda. The other team in their group is Mexico. Following the completion of the pool round, teams will then be seeded and participate in placement matches for fifth and sixth, the bronze medal match, and the final, all of which are scheduled for Saturday, September 28.
