Following the conclusion of a rigorous fitness assessment conducted at the National Track and Field Centre in Leonora, Guyana Football Federation (GFF) referees recorded a pass rate of 75% ahead of nominations for the 2025 FIFA List.
This was disclosed by a press release from the federation. According to the correspondence, the fitness assessment was conducted to evaluate the agility and physical endurance of the 20 participants, which is a major criteria for officials in their attempts to achieve FIFA certification.
