A sixteen-year-old girl has been found dead in her parents’ home in Mashabo Village, Region Two.
Angelina Charles was a student at Aurora Secondary School.
According to reports, Charles, along with three other students of the school, were rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital.
It was later revealed that the group had been drinking in the school dormitory, after which it was recommended that they be sent home. The parents, who initially took the girls to the hospital, opted to discharge them against medical advice.
Further reports indicate that Charles had been deeply affected by the recent death of a boy she was in a relationship with, who had tragically taken his own life.
Charles was transported to the Suddie Public Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her remains are currently at the Suddie mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.
