Guyana Power and Light (GPL) customers from La Union to Supenaam have been advised that their service interruption is due to a vehicular accident.
GPL said in a Facebook post that a car came into contact with one of its poles.
A team has been mobilized and is working to restore the power.
Power is expected to be restored at approximately 1:00pm.
