The Guyana Power and Light (GPL) says that earlier today, a truck collided with the company’s L17 Transmission Line structure at Mahaica, ECD.
The impact damaged a section of the structure supporting the line connecting the Columbia and Good Hope Substations.
Remedial work is required to maintain the structure’s integrity. This work will be done on Sunday, September 29, from 1:00 AM to 4:00 AM.
As a result, customers from Success to Enmore, ECD, may experience an interruption in power supply during this time.
