Torginol Paints has concluded its promotion, “Name That Shade”, which coincides with this year’s CPL cricket tournament, a release from the company announced on Friday.

It stated that after receiving almost 2,000 submissions on its website for the chance to name its new CPL-inspired paint colour, the company selected a distinguished Top Five. Four of the finalists—Vedwattie Doodnauth, Kevin Morgan, Alisha Baksh, and Aurielle Melville—were rewarded with coveted VIP tickets to today’s match between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Trinbago Knight Riders, as well as exclusive Torginol Paints merchandise.

The “Name That Shade” promotion was launched on August 21, following the International Building Expo.

The grand prize winner, whose entry will officially name Torginol’s new CPL-inspired paint colour, will be announced today, at the Torginol Booth at the Guyana National Stadium. The winner will receive two VIP tickets to the CPL Finals, along with exclusive Torginol Paints merchandise.

According to Torginal Paints, the winning paint colour name, which will be revealed during the prize-giving ceremony, “promises to capture the spirit of both cricket and Guyana’s vibrant landscape.”

As a proud Guyanese brand, Torginol assured that it will continue to showcase its commitment to local innovation and quality, capturing the essence of Guyana through its products and initiatives. This promotion, the release added, helped shine a spotlight on the new colour the company is preparing to bring to the market.
