Pan American Hockey Challenge
Guyana secured an historic bronze medal in the Pan American Hockey Federation Challenge, defeating hosts Bermuda in the third-place playoff yesterday at the National Sports Centre.
The Guyanese prevailed by a 2-1 score to secure the coveted accolade. On the individual side, Alysa Xavier was adjudged the event’s best goalkeeper. Guyana ended the event with a record of two wins, two draws, and one defeat.
