St. Pius, Santa Rosa, Tapakuma win Pee Wee U-11 Boy’s football

Defending champion St. Pius, as well as Santa Rosa and Tapakuma Lake, tallied comfortable wins when the Courts Pee Wee U-11 Boy’s Football Championship resumed yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.

St. Pius thrashed Winfer Gardens 4-1. Jovaine Wright bagged a brace in the 13th and 18th minutes, while Aleem Younge and Roy Cassou scored in the sixth and 35th minutes, respectively.

Similarly, Santa Rosa dismissed North Georgetown 3-0. Marcus Atkinson, Dylan James, and Deon Henry scored in the 22nd, 27th, and 29th minutes, respectively.

Likewise, Tapakuma dismantled Anns Grove 5-0. Raphael Fredericks led the rout with a hat-trick in the second, fifth, and 39th minutes, while Jordan Benjamin and Renecia Williams scored in the seventh and 31st minutes apiece.

In other results, Belladrum, Marian Academy, School of the Nations, St. John the Baptist, and Stella Maris registered victories.

Belladrum dismantled Redeemer 5-0. Nemaul Wilson recorded a double in the 26th and 40th minutes, while Javell Fraser, Runako Trotman, and Kenroy Gordon scored in the ninth, 31st, and 35th minutes, respectively.

Identically, Den Amstel crushed Golden Grove 5-0. Kester Jacobs amassed a hat-trick in the 14th, 25th, and 37th minutes, while Andrew Robin bagged a double in the fifth and 30th minutes.

Likewise, Marian Academy blanked Colaaco by the aforesaid score. Joshua Johnson tallied a helmet trick in the 15th, 17th, 19th, and 22nd minutes, with Cristiano La Rose scoring in the 13th minute to commence the rout.

School of the Nations thumped the Georgetown International Academy (GIA) 5-1. Juan Jaramillo tallied five goals in the sixth, 10th, 13th, 25th, and 35th minutes. For the loser, Caleb Nnoli netted in the 19th minute.

Meanwhile, St. John the Baptiste dispatched St. Gabriel’s 4-1. Kriston Chandler tallied a double in the first and 31st minutes, while Alex Pearson and Joel De Andrade scored in the fifth and eighth minutes, respectively. On target in the loss was Treyvon Bypass in the 28th minute.

Also, Stella Maris downed Potaro 3-1. Clyde Jacobs recorded a hat-trick in the 18th, 28th, and 40th minutes. For the loser, Jermaine Joseph scored in the ninth minute.
