Uitvlugt maintained their perfect record in the West Demerara Football Association Senior Men’s League, dismantling Belle West by a 3-1 score yesterday.
Staged at the Uitvlugt Community Centre ground, Jamaal Harvey bagged a first half double in the 24th and 31st minutes, while Tyrese Waterman found the back of the net in the 73rd minute. For the loser, Collin Lewis scored in the 61st minute.
Meanwhile, Wales and Eagles played to a 1-1 stalemate. Orette Stephenson handed the Eagles unit the initial advantage as he scored in the 10th minute. However, Calvin Dorga would earn a share of the spoils for Wales as he found the back of the net in the 26th minute.
