Woman in third trimester of pregnancy after being told foetus `not viable’

After being told that the foetus she was carrying was not viable and did not have a heartbeat, Regina Rawlins is in the third trimester of her pregnancy and preparing for delivery.

In a social media post, she described the harrowing experience she had following her first few weeks of pregnancy. When she discovered she was five weeks pregnant, she and her husband visited a private clinic where a doctor – recommended having an ultrasound done.

At six weeks and four days, the couple decided to visit a private hospital where they met with a doctor who was highly recommended by her initial doctor.
