The Police say they conducted an intelligence-led operation on 2024-09-30 at Stanleytown, New Amsterdam Berbice (Tannery Dam), at the home of Jim Schultz, a 36-year-old labourer, where they found 850 grams of cannabis.
Schultz lives in a one-storey wooden house in a well-fenced yard. In the presence of Schultz, the Police say they conducted a search of the yard and house and found two black plastic bags in a cupboard with leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be Cannabis.
Schultz was told of the offence and cautioned and he replied, saying: “Officer, is me thing, is a lil thing you boi doing”.
