On October 2nd, 2024, at approximately 1:19 AM, four individuals attempted to break into the SURI Trading Warehouse at Little Diamond, East Bank Demerara. SURI owner Frank Sanichara on his Facebook page said that the attackers tried to overpower one of the watchmen, who courageously fought back. Thanks to the swift response from other security personnel on site, the mission of the attackers was foiled, Sanichara said.
“We are offering a 5 Million Dollar Cash Reward for any information leading to the arrest and prosecution of these individuals. Rest assured, all information will remain confidential, and you will not be required to testify in court or provide any statement to the police.
“To the individuals involved: if you are watching this and wish to come forward, now is the time. We are willing to sign an agreement not to pursue this matter further if you provide the details of the plan”, Sanichara said.
