North East, Z-Tekk to collide for title tonight

Campbellville Street-ball Championship 

North East La Penitence and Z-Tekk Family will contest the final in the inaugural edition of the Campbellville Village Cup Street-ball Championship tonight at the community centre tarmac.

The experienced North East La Penitence earned their place in the final, after overcoming Street Vybz 3-2 on sudden death penalty kicks following a scoreless regulation time interval.

On the other hand, Z-Tekk Family bested Team Cruel of Beterverwagting by a 2-1 score.

The losing semi-finalists will contest the earlier third place playoff. According to the organizers, all systems are in place for an exciting conclusion to the tournament.

The winner of the event will receive $300,000 and the championship trophy, while the second, third, and fourth-place finishers will pocket $150,000, $75,000, and $25,000, respectively, and the corresponding accolade.
