President Irfaan Ali recently accepted the Letters of Accreditation from the new United Nations Resident Coordinator here, Jean Njeri Kamau.
A release from the Department of Public Information (DPI) said that President Ali told Kamau that his Government is building Guyana with a focus on being a global leader on harmony, and women and youth empowerment, among other key areas.
He added that his government will continue to champion democracy, the rule of law and being a global leader in food, energy and climate security.
