Trinidad businessman found murdered after abducted by men in police squad car

(Trinidad Express) Sachel Kungebeharry, the used car dealer who was allegedly kidnapped for ransom by police officers in a marked police car last month, has been found dead.

His decomposing remains were found in a grave off Pokhor Road, Longdenville on Thursday.

He was identified by his fingerprints.

Kungebeharry was killed despite a $500,000 ransom being paid for his return.

Two police officers and a civilian have been arrested and the squad car seized as part of the case.

On September 25, Kungebeharry was driving along in Longdenville when his vehicle was intercepted by a police vehicle.

He was taken away in the police car, never to be seen alive again.
