Guyana’s education sector will receive a much needed boost as more than 1,500 trained teachers are set to graduate from the Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE), reflecting the government’s commitment to have 100 per cent of Guyana’s teachers fully trained by 2025.
According to a release from the Department of Public Information (DPI) on Friday, this announcement was made on Wednesday by Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand during the commissioning of a new block at the West Demerara Secondary School in Region Three.
