-five other suspects to be charged soon
The Guyana Police Force yesterday said that the search for Joshua David who was kidnapped on the evening of September 26 on Main Street, George-town, is still going.
This is according to the Regional Commander (Ag), Assistant Commis-sioner Simon McBean, who yesterday added that the police are still processing the charges for the other five suspects who surrendered to the police on Friday and are likely to appear in court soon.
Two suspects, Osafo Peters and Alpha Poole, who surrendered to the police on Monday after wanted bulletins were issued for them, were on Friday afternoon charged with the abduction of David when they appeared at the Georgetown Magis-trate’s court before Acting Chief Magistrate, Faith McGusty. They were not required to enter a plea and were remanded to prison until October 11.
