St. Pius, Enterprise, Rosignol, GIA win Pee Wee U-11 Boy’s football

Defending champion St. Pius, as well as Enterprise, Rosignol, and the Georgetown International Institute (GIA), romped to comfortable victories when the Courts Pee Wee U-11 Boy’s Football Championship resumed yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.

St. Pius dismissed Tucville 4-0. Aleem Younge tallied a hat-trick in the first, eighth, and 20th minutes, while Jovaine Wright scored in the fourth.

Similarly, Enterprise thrashed Smith Memorial 6-0. Dontay Kowlessar recorded a helmet trick in the seventh, 11th, 27th, and 30th minutes, while Shine Arthur and Kymari Younge scored in the 13th and 40th minutes, respectively.

By the same token, Rosignol mauled F.E. Pollard 12-0. Abdul Kadir tallied five strikes in the first, second, 10th, 21st, and 25th minutes, while Jeremiah McDonald scored four times in the eighth, 12th, 29th, and 30th minutes. Adding goals in the 15th and 18th minutes apiece were Jeremiah Seecharran and Jaime Bourne, while an own goal in the 36th minute completed the score.

In the same manner, GIA dispatched Colaaco 7-1. Yacine Amri bagged a brace in the 10th and 40th, following a double from Caleb Nnoli in the 13th and 16th minutes. Adding goals in the 33rd, 24th, and 39th minutes, respectively were Zakaria Zemmit, Yoseph Rivas, and Mathias Bermudez. On target in the loss was Shakeel Fraser in the 30th minute.

In other results, West Ruimveldt, St. Gabriel’s, St. John the Baptist, and Belladrum stormed to easy wins.

West Ruimveldt crushed Golden Grove 5-0 via doubles from Eli Bryant in the 20th and 30th minutes and Seon Horsham in the fifth and 35th minutes. Adding to the score in the 36th minute was Jaseem Parris.

Likewise, St. Gabriel’s made light work of Genesis following an 8-0 victory. Treyvon Byass tallied a hat-trick in the third, 22nd, and 25th minutes, while Devon Jones amassed a three-goal haul in the 28th, 30th, and 32nd minutes. Adding to the score in the 10th and 18th minutes, respectively, were Nathan Melville and Zion Hickerson.

Identically, St. John the Baptist dismantled Timehri 8-0. Kareem Welcome registered a helmet trick in the third, 16th, 22nd, and 26th minutes, while Kriston Chandler added a double in the first and fifth minutes. Chipping in with goals in the 29th and 40th minutes were Marcellus Elvis and Orlando Degas, respectively.

Also, Belladrum brushed aside Potaro 5-0. Jadon Sampson amassed a hat-trick in the seventh, 10th, and 23rd minutes, while Kenroy Gordon added a brace in the 19th and 30th minutes.
