-file on five suspects sent to DPP for advice
Head of the Guyana Police Force’s (GPF) Corporate Communications Unit, Mark Ramotar, told report-ers yesterday that Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum has indicated that a file was prepared and sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice in relation to the five suspects in police custody for the abduction of Joshua David.
David was kidnapped on September 27th and has not been seen since.
The GPF had applied also for an extension of detention for the five suspects, which was granted for an additional 72 hours.
