Commissioning activities for GDF Standard Officers Course underway

Marked by the tradition of the Commissioning Service, twenty-eight pairs of Officers’ Stars, soon to adorn the shoulders of the newest batch of graduates from the GDF Standard Officers Course, were carried with reverence for blessing. The service was held yesterday at the Auditorium, Base Camp Ayanganna. The class of twenty-eight graduands include one member of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force, two from the Belize Defence Force, six from the Guyana Police Force, and eighteen from the Guyana Defence Force.
