(Trinidad Guardian) A 34-year-old mother of four and her one-year-old daughter have been killed by a close male relative.
Police reports say Tara Ramsaroop and her child were chopped to death at a house at Location Road Barrackpore yesterday just after 11 o’clock.
Her sister Jassodra Ramadan broke down in tears while speaking with reporters at the scene.
She said when the incident happened they locked down the primary school where Tara’s other child, an eight-year-old boy attended because they were scared he was going to harm him too.
The 30-year-old suspect has been detained.
