Yesterday morning,  Commander for Regional Division #1 Superintendent Krishna Ramana spearheaded a police raid at the residence of Jarrette Singh, a 49-year-old unemployed woman living at Kumaka Stretch, North West District.

Police, during the raid, discovered two transparent plastic bags containing leaves, seeds, and stems suspected to be Cannabis Sativa next to a cupboard in the kitchen. A release from the police said that one of the ranks informed Singh of his suspicion and cautioned her. She responded, “It’s mine. I use it for my illness.”
