Dear Editor,
It was quite disturbing to read the headline of a recent letter in your newspaper. The letter’s headline began with “Hamas is not a terrorist organization.” What makes the letter even more perplexing is that it was written by a former President of Guyana.
Maybe, he wants us to believe that those were choir boys that savagely murdered nearly 1200 people, and kidnap hundreds more. One thing is for sure, Guyanese can breathe a sigh of relief that this man is far away from the corridors of power in Guyana.
