From now to Diwali, Deep Jale marks Dharmic sabhsa’s 50th

In celebration of its fiftieth anniversary the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha on Saturday launched its 2024 Diwali programme with Deep Jale, a spectacular light-up at the Kitty Seawall Roundabout. The event, which is free, will run daily from 6 pm until October 30th.

According to a press release from the Sabha’s, over the period, there will also be performances by Guyanese artistes including Kishan Sugrim of Berbice; Suraj Singh, Sookrane Boodhoo, Rekha Singh and Ganindra of West Coast Demerara,; Elizabeth Wongand and Arijit Singh of East Coast Demerara and the Dharmic Nritya Sangh, Cummings Lodge Mandir and Golden Om Dharmic Dance troupe from Berbice.
