Agricola Red Triangle was crowned the East Bank Demerara Senior Men’s League champion, defeating Timehri United 2-1 in the playoff final at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Agricola secured the initial advantage as Jonathan Andries made his presence felt following a 15th minute. The score remained unchanged entering the halftime interval. Upon the resumption of play, Timehri United recorded the equaliser in the form of Tyrel Khan, who made his presence felt in the 50th minute.
