Mahaica Determinators were crowned the East Coast Demerara Senior Men’s League champion following a draw between second-place unit Buxton Stars and third-place outfit Airy Hall.
Needing a victory to secure the title, Buxton Stars were unable to secure the victory, as they were held to a scoreless draw by Airy Hall, which sealed the championship for Mahaica by the thinnest of margins.
Mahaica captured the title with 17 points, while Buxton Stars ended in second place on 16 points. Airy Hall ended in third place. Meanwhile, Mahaicony Western Lions defeated Victoria Kings via walkover.
