The Ministry of Public Works yesterday clarified recent media reports suggesting that $7.3 billion in roadworks is currently underway in Region 10.
It did not identify the media reports.

To date, contracts for 26 roads have been awarded for early 2024, and additional works will continue in a phased manner until all roads are completed, the release said.
