Excessive speeding at the Stadium Road Providence exit

Dear Editor,

I frequently travel along Stadium Road at Providence, and each time, I am deeply concerned by the speed at which trucks and heavy-duty vehicles approach the corner near the stadium’s side entrance. This section of the road, where it narrows from four lanes to a very tight two lanes around a blind turn, is extremely dangerous.

I urgently appeal to the Ministry of Public Works to install clear signage both entering and exiting this section, warning drivers of the hazardous turn ahead. Additionally, there should be signs advising a reduced speed limit as vehicles approach this narrow, blind curve. This is a matter of public safety, and I hope immediate action will be taken to prevent potential accidents.

Sincerely,

Saudia Ferouz
