Despite claims made by the family of the 18-year-old motorcyclist, Tevin Griffith, who was suspected to be speeding along Mandela Avenue in the vicinity of Pineapple Street, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, when he died on the night of October 22, there is no evidence to suggest another person was involved in the accident.
This is according to the Regional Commander, Assistant Commissioner Simon McBean, who said yesterday that this conclusion was based on investigations carried out by the police.
