Marian Academy and Santa Rosa of Region #1 will contest the final of the Courts Optical Pee Wee Boy’s U-11 Football Championship following hard-fought semifinal wins yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Marian Academy eliminated defending champion St. Pius by a 2-1 score. Cristiano La Rose recorded a double in the 10th and 25th minutes. For the loser, Jovaine Wright scored.
In an identical manner, Santa Rosa defeated St. John the Baptist 2-1. Deon Henry and Ethan Richards scored in the 14th and 17th minutes, respectively. Kareem Welcome scored for the loser in the 27th minute.
