Spaniards, Assassa Ballers, and Bomberz recorded lopsided wins when the New Era/ExxonMobil Futsal Championship commenced on Friday evening at the Retrieve Tarmac, Linden.
Spaniards dismantled Old Kara-Kara 19-2. Shaka Louis and Denzil Pryce led the rout with seven and six goals, respectively, while Malachi Todd and Jamal Almond registered a hat-trick and a brace correspondingly. Adding to the score was Mark Jacob.
Similarly, Bomberz demolished One Side 8-3. The trio of Shamiah and Duquain Samuels as well as Colwyn Davidson recorded respective braces, while Joshua Fleming and Azaineo Benjamin netted once goal apiece. For the loser, Akeem Caesar netted a hat-trick.
Also, Assassa Ballers caged Tigers FC 5-2. Devon McAllister and Allan Reece recorded doubles, while Kester Randolph netted once. For the losers, Jermaine King and Elroy Orna scored one goal, respectively.
On the other side, Delvin Grant and Prince Gibson scored one goal apiece.
Also, DC Ballers and Young Gunners played to a 2-2 draw. Antoine Gill and Malcom Miggins scored for the DC Ballers, while Marcus Tudor bagged a brace for the Young Gunners.
