Guyana arrives in T&T to battle for CWI Super50 crown

The Guyana Harpy Eagles team arrived yesterday in Trinidad and Tobago to compete in the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Regional Super50 Championship.

The Guyanese will open their campaign against the Windward Volcanoes in a day/night encounter tomorrow at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. Guyana, which has achieved tremendous success in the four-day format, has not clinched the Super50 title since 2005.

The team comprises: Tevin Imlach (captain), Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Matthew Nandu, Kevlon Anderson, Kemol Savory, Kevin Sinclair, Keemo Paul (vice-captain), Ronaldo Alimohamed, Veerasammy Permaul, Isai Thorne, Ashmead Nedd, Nial Smith, Sylus Tyndall, and Rampertab Ramnauth.
