Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Andre Ally, on Friday handed over the contract for the reconstruction of the Anna Regina Police Station to Builders Hardware, General Supplies and Construction.
A release from the Ministry of Home Affairs said that the contract is valued at $185,865,689 and will modernize the station, providing a safer, more functional space for officers.
Ally was on a tour of projects in Region Two. The release said that the Permanent Secretary proceeded to the Charity Stelling, where he inspected an area earmarked for the construction a new boathouse and wharf for the Guyana Police Force.
