The Ministry of Home Affairs, in partnership with ANSA McAl, has launched the “Designate a Driver, Don’t Drink and Drive (D5)” road safety campaign.
A release from the ministry said that this initiative encourages drivers to stay safe by choosing a designated driver if they plan to drink.
Tragically, between January 1 and October 26, 2024, 101 lives have been lost on our roads, the ministry disclosed.
“Please drive responsibly. Follow the 5 Cs and always designate a driver”, it urged.
