The West Indies Fullbore Shooting Championship, which commenced on Monday at the Timehri Rifle Ranges in Yarrowkabra, Linden Soesdyke Highway, is scheduled to conclude on November 4th.

While the English and Scottish participants will be absent, the other participating nations are: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Canada, Grenada, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and the USA. Guyana previously hosted the event in 2017.

President Irfaan Ali delivered the feature address at the opening ceremony, stating that the event goes beyond its competitive rivalry, as it is a coming together of nations and families. He implored all the teams to rise above their respective challenges and deliver quality performances.
