‘One Guyana’ B Division Volleyball
Hururu Hydras and West Rocker Setters won respective divisional titles when the Guyana Volleyball Federation’s (GVF) ‘One Guyana’ National B Division Championship continued.
In the Linden Zone, Hururu Hydras defeated Glasgow Rangers 3-1. Hydras stormed to the early lead as they won the first set 25-16. They then doubled their advantage following a 25-13 performance in the second stanza.
Rangers reduced the deficit in a hard-fought third set, as they prevailed 29-27. However, Hydras secured the title following another dominant 25-13 score in the fourth set.
Meanwhile, the West Rocker Setters defeated the West Spikers 3-0 in the Moruca Zone. Rocker Setters prevailed in the opening stanza 25-13 before doubling their lead in an equally dominant fashion following a 25-12 score. The win was then sealed via a 25-15 score-line in the third set.
