One Side, YMCA win in New Era Futsal

One Side and the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) recorded victories when the New Era/ExxonMobil Futsal Championship continued on Saturday evening at the Retrieve Tarmac, Linden.

One Side caged the Tigers 4-0. Javier Akeem bagged a double, while Pharez Noble and Ryan Arthur scored one goal each. On the other hand, YMCA grounded Bomberz 6-4. Nicholas Gentle and Jonah Simon scored two goals each, while Kevin Gittens and Keyshawn Dey recorded one conversion, respectively.

In other results, Hard-knocks thrashed Germans 6-2, while Turf President dismissed Fearless 7-4.

The winner of the tournament will pocket $1,000,000, while the loser will receive $500,000, $200,000, and $100,000, respectively, and the corresponding accolade. On the individual side, the Most Valuable Player will ride away with a motorcycle.
