The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) has concluded the first phase of the CONCACAF C License programme for coaches involved with the nation’s Elite League clubs and national youth teams, according to a release from the entity.

According to the correspondence, the course, which featured 27 participants, is structured in three levels, each comprising theoretical and practical training sessions.

Block-1 occurred from October 28th-November 1st and consisted of face-to-face sessions to enhance their respective coaching faculties.

The release stated, “Following this, participants will enter a developmental period from November 2 to December 2, 2024, to apply what they have learnt in real-game scenarios. Block 2 is scheduled to take place from December 3 to December 7, 2024, while Block 3, the final assessment phase, will run from January 9 to January 12, 2025, and will include both theoretical and practical formative assessments.”

The course is being guided by GFF Technical Director Bryan Joseph and Coach Development Officer Lyndon France.
