Dear Editor,
I am writing to voice a concern about the use of the $100,000 handout allocated to individuals. Specifically, I believe that fathers who owe child support, including those who have consistently failed to contribute to their children’s welfare, should not receive these funds without accountability.
Many parents and their children are facing increased financial challenges, often due to unpaid child support. For these families, even a fraction of the relief funds could significantly improve their stability and well-being. If a father owes child support, his $100,000 relief handout (or any substantial assistance received) should be redirected to support the children who depend on it.
This approach would ensure that children are prioritized in financial policy, providing them with the resources they need to thrive. Additionally, it would send a message to absent parents about the importance of their financial and emotional responsibility.
Yours faithfully,
Anthony Pantlitz
