The Guyana Basketball Federation (GBF) has confirmed the nation’s participation at the impending FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup Championship, which is slated for December 13th-15th in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with President Michael Singh confident of fielding a competitive team.

This was confirmed by a release from the GBF. Guyana made its debut in the FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup during its inaugural edition in 2021 and continued its participation in 2022, with both tournaments held in Miami.

Guyana, who made their debut in the 2021 edition in Miami, Florida, did not participate in the 2023 iteration owing to financial constraints. Their previous participation occurred in the 2022 version in the form of Delroy James, Shelroy Thomas, Gordon James, and Nikoloi Smith.
