Prime Minister Mark Phillips joined President Irfaan Ali and Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, Sonia Parag, in Karasabai, Region Nine, over the last two days to lead efforts to rebuild and repair more than a dozen homes damaged by a windstorm on November 3.
The relief effort in Karasabai, a community of approximately 1500 residents and 328 households, is being executed through collaboration between the Civil Defence Commission and Men on Mission, in conjunction with other Government agencies and regional officials, a release from the Office of the Prime Minister said.
