Defending champion Marian Academy as well as West Ruimveldt and Potaro secured their place in the elimination round following commanding wins in the MVP Sports Girl’s U-11 Pee Wee Football Championship yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Marian Academy thrashed the Georgetown International Academy 7-0 in their first encounter. Chrissyanne Persaud tallied a helmet trick in the sixth, 12th, 16th, and 23rd minutes, while Haley Haberkorn, Sariah Samaroo, and Ella Fernandes scored in the 10th, 25th, and 40th minutes, respectively.
