The police say that legal advice is still being sought from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in relation to Marshall Allicock whose vehicle collided with another vehicle along the La Bonne Intention Railway Embankment, ECD on September 29, resulting in the death of Salima Heeralal.

This was confirmed by the Regional Commander, Senior Superintendent Ewart Wray. Acting Communication Officer of the Guyana Police Force Corporate Communica-tion Units, Stan Gouveia on October 27th told the Stabroek News that Allicock was discharged from a city hospital and placed into custody after which he was placed on cash bail. The file he had said at that time was sent to DPP for legal advice in the matter.
