Burnette Daniels, a 28-year-old miner of Agatash Village, Bartica appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Magistrate Teriq Mohammed to answer the charge of attempting to commit murder.
He was not required to plead and was remanded to prison. The matter was postponed to 2024-12-19.
Daniels is accused of attempting to murder Leroy Gobin, called ‘Cookie’, which occurred on 2024-10-04 at Dogg Point Bartica, Essequibo River.
