Abducted Trinidad man found dead in bloody car on highway

(Trinidad Express) The search for Winston Thomas has ended.

His body was discovered in his car parked roadside on the highway yesterday morning.

Thomas, 68, of Penal Rock Rock, Penal, was reportedly beaten and abducted from his home at around 2a.m.

Police were told that three Spanish speaking men broke into his house, stole items and loaded it into his car.

Nissan B-15, highway users began reporting seeing the vehicle parked near the Golconda Overpass along the Solomon Hochoy Highway Extension.

The vehicle was on the north-bound lane. One of the tyres was blown, and it appears it was driven until it only the rim was left.

Thomas, known as ‘Teckie’ was in the vehicle, dead.

He was in the rear seat, laying on his back, face covered by a towel, and blood splattered across the seats.
