Red Shoe Project for seawall display tomorrow

In recognition of International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, observed tomorrow, the Women and Gender Equality Commis-sion is partnering with the Civil Society National Reference Group on an initiative known as the Red Shoe Project, which will kick start the observance of #16DAYS of activism against gender-based violence.

DDL signs salaries agreement with three unions

-new monthly minimum to be $125,000 Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) yesterday announced that together with the three unions operating in the DDL Group: the Guyana Agricultural and General Workers Union (GAWU), the Guyana Labour Union (GLU), and the Clerical and Commercial Workers Union (CCWU), it signed on Wednesday, November 20, another five-year Collective Labour Agreement for the years 2025-2029.
