Village Rams and Downtown Mavericks recorded commanding victories to seal their place in the next round when the Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) Harmony T10 Tapeball Championship continued yesterday.
The Village Rams defeated the Kuru-Kururu Panthers by 89 runs. Batting first, the Village Rams amassed an imposing 182/2 in their allocation.
Adams engineered this mammoth score with 101 (10x6s, 5x4s) from 40 delivers. He was supported by Omesh Danram, who smashed 52 (3x6s, 5x4s) from 23 deliveries. In response, the Panthers could only muster 93/5 in their allotment, with Brad Thomas top scoring with 48 (5x6s, 2x4s) from 20 deliveries.
