Makai Dowlin captured 5-14 to help his team, the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA), to a dominant win over their counterparts, the West Demerara Cricket Association (WDCA), and in the process lifted the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) U-15 title in a rain-affected game.
After the GCA had won the toss at the Queen’s College Ground, Dowlin turned in a miserly and potent shift with his spin to wreak havoc among the WDCA batsmen, snaring a five wicket haul from his four overs as the West Demerara outfit were skittled for 84 in 25.3 overs.
