Linden businesswoman on false pretence charges granted $20.4m bail

Omeca Primo, the taxi service owner previously remanded on 13 charges of false pretence and denied bail, was granted bail totalling $20.4 million yesterday.

Primo, who is accused of defrauding multiple individuals under the pretence of owning an auto sales business, now faces a total of 60 charges. She is scheduled to return to court on December 13, 2024, for disclosure.

Primo appeared before Magistrate Faith McGusty at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court via Zoom on November 10 2024, represented by attorney Everton Singh- Lammy.
